Overview
On the Mailboxes page you can connect additional mailboxes to your account so that they can be warmed up (if necessary) and later assigned to one or more of your campaigns. By default you will only have one mailbox - typically this would be your primary email address that was used to create your Perlon AI account.
By clicking on the three dots to the right of each email address you can view selected mailbox’s options:
Connect Warm Up
Allows you to initiate a mailbox warm up process (read more here)
Set as Primary
Allows you to select and set any mailbox as primary
Remove Mailbox
Allows you to remove any mailbox for the list of available mailboxes
Connecting Mailboxes
You can connect your additional mailboxes by either using Gmail/Outlook automated steps or by manually inputting the IMAP/SMTP information.
To Connect Gmail / Outlook mailboxes simply click on the Connect Gmail / Outlook button in the top right corner of the page and follow the steps outlined on the page that opens.
We are a registered vendor with both Microsoft and Google. However some accounts might still require admin approval of the Perlon AI app. Please speak to your internal admin to get the app approved.
To Connect IMAP mailboxes click on the Connect IMAP button in the top right corner of the page. Here you will have 2 options: add a single mailbox or add multiple mailboxes in bulk.
Adding Multiple IMAP Mailboxes
To add multiple mailboxes in bulk, please ensure that you have all necessary information compiled into a .CSV file. The following column headers are required:
Email Address
First Name
Last Name
IMAP Username
IMAP Password
IMAP Host
IMAP Port
SMTP Username
SMTP Password
SMTP Host
SMTP Port
Once the file is loaded, double check that all data is present and click Add IMAPs.
Adding Single IMAP Mailbox
To add a single IMAP mailbox, click on the Add Single IMAP Account and enter all of the required information in the fields provided. The required fields will be similar to those used to add multiple mailboxes:
Email Address
First Name
Last Name
IMAP Username
IMAP Password
IMAP Host
IMAP Port
SMTP Username
SMTP Password
SMTP Host
SMTP Port
Ensure all of the information is entered correctly and click Create. You should then see a confirmation notification in the bottom right corner, confirming that a mailbox has been successfully added.
