Overview
Importing prospects from your CRM allows you to launch campaigns using the contacts you've already organised, without needing to export and upload CSV files.
Perlon imports people directly from your CRM while helping prevent duplicates and ensuring your campaign only includes prospects that are ready for outreach.

What Happens During an Import?
Perlon reviews every prospect before adding them to your campaign. Each prospect is placed into one of three groups.
Ready to import
These prospects already have the information needed for outreach and are added to your campaign immediately.
Typically this includes:
Full name
Valid email address
Company information (where available)
Needs enrichment
Some prospects may be missing important information such as an email address.
If they have enough information available, such as a LinkedIn profile, Perlon can attempt to enrich the record by finding the missing details before adding them to your campaign.
Prospects that cannot be enriched won't be added to the campaign.
Skipped
Some records cannot be imported because they don't contain enough information to contact the prospect. These records are skipped automatically and won't appear in your campaign.
Duplicate protection
Perlon automatically checks for duplicate prospects before importing. If a prospect already exists in the campaign, they won't be imported again. This helps keep campaigns clean and prevents duplicate outreach.
Do Not Contact protection
If your workspace has Do Not Contact Sync enabled, Perlon checks imported prospects against your exclusion rules. Prospects that match an exclusion rule won't be imported into the campaign. This helps ensure existing customers, opted-out contacts and other excluded records aren't accidentally contacted.
Assigning imported prospects
When importing prospects, you can choose how they are assigned. You can:
Assign every prospect to a single user.
Distribute prospects evenly across your team.
Assignments determine who owns the prospect within the campaign and who receives any resulting activity.
Sync to CRM
When importing prospects, you'll have the option to enable Sync to CRM. When enabled:
New prospects can be created in your CRM if they don't already exist.
Campaign activity is written back to your CRM automatically.
Prospect engagement remains visible alongside your existing CRM records.
If disabled, campaign activity remains inside Perlon only.
Tip: You can choose whether to enable CRM Sync each time you import prospects. It isn't a workspace-wide setting.
